Leopold Flasch first studied biochemistry at Ruhr-University Bochum and later transferred to biology at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf, at which he graduated with a Master of Science at the Institute for Toxicology. His research focused on the mechanisms of action of secondary plant compounds and their influence on the expression of various transcription factors.
In addition, he participated as a scholarship recipient in a three-month research project in South Africa.
During his studies, he worked for almost 3 years at the law firm McDermott Will & Emery in Düsseldorf, where he gained insights into legal practice in the areas of compliance, labour law and insolvency law.
Since mid-2019, Leopold has been working in intellectual property law at our firm and is currently undergoing training as a patent attorney.
